BRAVE (Bully Resistance and Violence Education)

This program is not only designed to go into schools and give talks on bullies and how to deal with them, but it is also encourages the formation of steering committees of youth and adults to identify bullies and victims.  The bullying problem has to be recognized by everyone for its seriousness both in and out of the school system. We have to develop a zero tolerance for bullying and get the message out to youth. We must help the victims in the appropriate manner and involve their parents when possible.

The program must be continually monitored by the steering committee with a consistent effort to find and implement solutions.  For more information on the BRAVE program please contact Community Policing at 250-561-3366.
